My name is Shirin Habib a Professional Makeup Artist and a successful business women.
My dad is Afghan, my mom is Iranian and I was born in Kuwait. 14 years ago when I came to Canada from Holland where I grew up, I was not sure of what my future would look like, however I knew that I wanted to get into art. I grew up in a home where my mom was always beautifying women and make them feel better about themselves. I really enjoyed watching that. So I decided to go to a private school in Toronto and became a makeup artist. I enrolled in the College of makeup art and design, formerly complections international.
Right after that I started working for high end brands, my last job 4 years ago was with Chanel. Due to having children and wanting to spend time with them, I started thinking about other options, where I could be a fulltime mom and yet be able to maintain myself and career. I believe every women can have both. Having children, it was always a priority to give them the best, so I started doing my research on healthier products, Arbonne was then introduced to me. I immediately fell in love with their products and ingredients policy, so I used them at home. I then looked further into their business opportunity and decided to give myself a chance and see if I could do it. Within 6 months of practicing the business, I fell in love with what I was doing! It was very simple, but not easy. However nothing and no one could stop me from achieving my goals.
My ultimate goals in life has always been to feel great and have inner peace, be a successful woman who was independent and happy, but I never knew I could give this opportunity to other women as well, which now pleases me the most. I started making a list of my dreams and decided to achieve them one by one.
My first dream was to start makeup classes and teach other women what I knew, as every women loves feeling beautiful, but rarely women have the proper makeup skills to do so. However mainly I wanted to do that with the proper healthy products. There are a lot of toxic products on the market and I did not like that. After educating myself on ingredients, Arbonne was the answer to all my concerns.
Arbonne’s opportunity has allowed me to be the woman I wanted to be because of the personal development I had in the past 4 years. It’s allowed me to get out of my comfort zone and do the things I feared in life, like following my dreams. I was always putting my dreams aside as I never thought they would come true.So 2 years ago I started following dream #1!
First makeup workshop was with one student and that number has since grown immensely. I have taught hundreds of women how to properly beautify themselves with the best products on the market and now my classes have expanded internationally through doing live online workshops.
